Why Greenland?
Disko Arts Festival springs out of Far North, a network and residency established in Oqaatsut in 2012. The core mission was – and partly still is – to bring together emerging international and Greenlandic artists. Disko Arts Festival is a local festival with an international profile, and the artistic programming is tailored for our Disko Bay and Nuuk audience.

When will the program be released?
The participating artists and public program will be announced in good time before the festival. All Disko Arts Festival events in Greenland are free of charge and open to everyone.

Volunteering
We welcome festival volunteers from Greenland and beyond, but cannot provide travel, accommodation or food. If you’re in the area and would like to contribute, or if you would like to get involved in some other way, get in touch!
